Zaura greets Muslims @ Eid-el Kabir, urges for COVID-19 compliance, prayers for peace



The Kano APC chieftain, Alhaji Abdulsalaam Abdulkareem Zaura popularly known as A. A. Zaura sends Eid greetings on the occasion of Eid el-Kabeer, which is a celebration of all across the world.

A.A. Zaura congratulates the faithfuls, specially to the Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his strategic administrative policies and mechanisms put in place to foster peace and unity in Kano State.

Similarly, Alhaji Zaura sends Sallah regards to the Kano State APC Chairman, Hon Abdullahi Abbas, and all distinguished party stakeholders in the state, wishing them Allah’s endless favors.

Reflecting on current challenges facing some states, Kano inclusive, Mr. Zaura states that “COVID-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on the economies of all countries, including our dear country.

A statement by the media aide to Zaura, Al-Amin Ciroma said the politician urged Kano inhabitants to complement government’s effort by following all guidelines advised by the authorities.

This, he explains, will ensure steady progress and development in the state and the nation as a whole.

According to Alhaji Zaura, “We must complement government’s effort by following all guidelines spelt out by the authorities in charge, so we can celebrate end of Covid later. This is indeed a clarion call for all to submit self.”

He says, “I also wish to seize this opportunity to call on all Kano people to support goverment’s effort in it developmental activities.”

Mr. Zaurs said that Kano State an appreciable value in commerce and business angle, so he urges all Muslims to pray for the statte and the nation as a whole for all the abnomalities we are witnessing now, ranging from insecurity, baditry and economic crisis.

According to him, prayers alone can solve all our pending problems.

Speaking on the significance of the Eid El-Kabir celebration, A.A. Zaura appeals to Muslims “to demonstrate the good virtues of Islam through personal examples and practices:

“Taking advantage of the celebration to exploit fellow citizens through outrageous prices of food and rams is inconsistent with fine virtues of Islam.

“As practising believers, we shouldn’t seek obscene profits by making life difficult and miserable for others. We should not seek happiness at the expense of others. Remember that Islam is a religion of charity that urges us to love our neighbour as we love ourselves.
