The senator representing Adamawa South Senatorial zone, Binos Dauda Yaroe has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah for witnessing yet another Eid-el Kabir festivity urging them to imbue its lessons of loyalty and sacrifice.
The senator urged the people to imbibe the lofty ideals of the occasion which include dedication, submission, perseverance and loyalty to the will of Allah as exemplified by prophet Abraham and his son Ismail.
He called on the people to deeply reflect on the lessons and spiritedness of the occasion by dedicating themselves to the service of God, country and humanity in general.
Yaroe also called on the people to be their brother’s keepers and urged them to shun any divisive tendency capable of causing breach of the law and order.
He urged the people to also imbibe dialogue in resolving their differences noting that conflict is inevitable in any human setting but the ability to resolve it without violence makes the difference.
“I called on the people to remain steadfast and commit themselves to the overall unity and peace of our state.
” Without a lasting peace, tranquility and order, nothing can be achieved. I urged Christians, Muslims and even traditionalist to imbibe the spirit of peace and unity.
“We have no other country than Nigeria. Let us give our individual contributions to its betterment. On this note i wish our brothers a happy Eid-el Kabir celebration,” Yaroe said.
