Ramadan: Jarma distributes food, cash clothes to over 500 people in Adamawa

No fewer than 500 people including orphans, women and the most vulnerable got food items, cash and clothing materials from Adamawa’s foremost philanthropist and Jarma of Jimeta, Alhaji Musa Adamu ahead of this years Ramadan fasting.

The event which took place over the weekend at WEEIN was graced by many dignitaries including immediate past governor of Adamawa State, Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.

Jarma who made the donation through the Jarma foundation noted that he was spurred to extend the gesture to the less privileged as a means of giving back to the society that has done so much to him.

Commending Jarma for the gesture, the National Chairman of the Jama’atu Izalatul Bidi’ah Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau said the gesture is in line with Allah’s immutable injunction which direct the wealthy to come to the rescue of the less privileged members of the society.

He noted that feeding and clothing the less privileged especially during the holy month of Ramadan attracts high premiums from Allah urging other wealthy individuals to emulate Jarma’s gesture.

While showering encomiums and plaudits on Jarma, Chairman of Adamawa Muslim Council, Alhaji Gambo Jika urged all Muslims to be their brothers keepers by assisting them with the bounties that Allah has blessed them with.

He urged Muslims to be steadfast in supplications and good deeds for Allah’s mercies to engulf the state and the nation.

In his remarks, the Jarma Jimeta told the beneficiaries that his heart and soul is always with them vowing to continue to uplift their living standards.

He noted that one of his cardinal principles is to ensure the empowerment of the less privileged members of the society as that always give him eternal joy and happiness.
