Prof Pate commends management of Binkola online radio

The Dean Post Graduate School, Bayero University Kano, Professor Umaru Pate has commended the management of Binkola online radio for its foresight and dedication towards attaining excellence urging them to maintain the tempo.

He urged the management to embrace the narrow path of truth, ensure editorial independence and embrace technology in its strides on its road to success.

Pate who made the commendation during a courtesy call on the station at its office in Yola, noted that the online radio’s future is guaranteed as technology holds the future for broadcasting.

According to him, time has come when conventional media outfits will hasten processes of converting to digital as the world is fast growing and becoming one.

Professor Umar Pate who described Binkola online radio as first online radio station in North east, lauded proprietor of the station Aliyu Muhammad Tukur for the initiative and saluted the management and staff of the radio for their dedication and commitment despite not been paid.

“Let me first commend the proprietor Mallam Binkola, I admire your efforts.

” You may not perhaps leave to reap the benefit but only God knows where this medium will be in the future, when as most of us may not even be around, its our fervent prayers this medium started on good footing and grow,”said he.

He pledged to support the organisation to stand on its own to enable it move with other online mediums in the world.

The University Don called on staff and management of Binkola Online radio to put more effort in ensuring its sustenance.

Responding the founder of Binkola Communication services Mallam Aliyu Muhammad Tukur thanked Professor Umar Pate for the visit.
He said the reason behind establishing the Binkola online radio is to move with digital world.
