NDE trains 200 youths on cosmetology in Adamawa

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has trained no fewer than 200 unemployed youths and women on Cosmetology in Adamawa.

Speaking at the end of one week training in Yola on Saturday, State Coordinator NDE, Malam Ibrahim Faisal, said that the training was aimed at reducing unemployment in the state and the country.

“It is the statutory mandate of NDE to train unemployed people to acquire skills and become self- reliant as well as become productive members of the society.

“I believe now, within this one week training you know how to produced Izal, Air freshener, Dettol, Vaseline”, he said.

He urged the beneficiaries to put the skills acquired in to practice so that they would self reliance and employers of labour as well as to justify government’s investment on them.

Faisal commended the resource Persons for impacting positively on the life of beneficiaries.

Some of the beneficiaries interviewed, thanked the NDE for giving them the opportunity to acquire skills to become self-reliant.

They assured to apply the skills in to practice and step down the training to their relatives.
