Mukhtar Gidado Bauchi Gov’s media aide bags productivity award

Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State, has won the 2019/2020 Bauchi State Productivity Merit Award.

Comrade Gidado received the award during the Productivity Merit Award Day celebration on Monday at the Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall Bauchi.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir while speaking at the event said the honour is a well deserved one tasking him and other awardees to double their efforts for the overall growth and development of the Society.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Senator Baba Tela, noted that his administration has created a competitive environment in the civil service of the state through various reforms for diligent service delivery to the people.

He explained that the reforms have aided government in blocking leakages which has freed resources that were applied to other facets of human needs of the state.

Other recipients of the award include Dr. Aliyu Tilde commissioner for Education, Alhaji Adamu Manu Soro Commissioner for Youths and Sports and Hajiya Hajara Gidado Commissioner for Women Affairs.

Others are the Deputy Chief of Staff office of the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Bashir Ya’u, Special Adviser on Civil Service Matters Mr Abdon Dalla Gin, Special Adviser on Assembly Matters Alhaji Sani Mohammed Burra and Special Adviser Social Investment Programmes Hajiya Amina Katagum.
