Just In: Presidency finally suspends Magu

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally suspended the embattled acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu over overwhelming cases of corruption, his inability to depend most of the questions put to him yesterday and to allow uninterrupted investigation by the Justice Ayo Salami led Investigative Committee.

EFCC’s Director of Operations is expected to act in that capacity pending further directives by President Muhammadu Buhari.

It was also learnt another fresh petition has since been prepared against the management and administration of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS and that since Magu who is believed to be very close to the CGI Muhammad Babandede is now out of the system, such petition can be attended to freely.
