A statement by Humwashi Wonosikou
Press Secretary to the Governor said, Fintiri received the news of the death of Mama Mildred with great shock and a deep sense of loss, saying the people and government of Adamawa State stand in solidarity with Honourable Kwamoti Laori and the family in mourning the departed Mama Mildred.

Governor Fintiri described the deceased “As a devoted, generous and humble matriarch who raised a close knit family and contributed immensely to the progress of her community,” the Governor said.

Rt.Hon Fintiri noted that Mama Mildred Ibrahim was a hard working mother on whose broad shoulders many people were raised to become great Nigerians including Kwamoti, a fine Lawyer and Lawmaker.

Governor Fintiri said “Mama was a gracious and loving mother, a true matriarch who loved and took care of all people, especially those in need during her service year at the Government Hospital which she continued after her retirement with the LCCN clinic at Numan, without any reservation.”

“Mama has been a towering symbol of family values and unity of her community. Certainly, we mourn a great Woman who cherished and worked for peaceful Co-existence of her community”.
