The Global Director, D-8 Health and Social Protection, Dr. Ado J.G Muhammad, has felicitated with the Muslim community in Nigeria for yet marking another Eid-el Kabir festival.
In a statement he personally signed, Muhammad urged Muslims to show love, care and help to one another and to others as encapsulated in the teachings of prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“On this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, I and the entire staff of D-8 Health and Social Protection Programme wish you a happy celebration.
“Eid-El-Kabir is a joyous occasion for Muslims to feast and rejoice and thank Almighty Allah for all the blessings as individuals and as a nation.
“As we celebrate, I urge us to remember the importance of charity, love for humanity as taught by Prophet Mohammed SAW and emulate his teachings of peace and happiness in all our dealings.
“For us at the D-8 HSP the celebration presents an opportunity to encourage all citizens of Member States to continuously pray for global peace, prosperity, and Allah’s blessings. In this trying time when the pandemic is ravaging the World, I encourage everyone to observe all COVID-19 Protocols while we celebrate.
“I pray that Allah in his infinite mercy, guide our leaders, secure our nations, and make our people more Prosperous,” Muhammad said.
