All English Premier League (EPL) matches have been suspended till April 4, to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The Premier League made the announcement after a protracted meeting on Friday.
The PL has now postponed its entire fixture list, becoming the latest sporting body to take action to combat the threat of coronavirus.
“Following a meeting of Shareholders today, it was unanimously decided to suspend the Premier League with the intention of returning on 4 April, subject to medical advice and conditions at the time,” Premier League statement said.
