A former commissioner for local government in Adamawa State and a renowned philanthropist, Alhaji Danjuma Jalo is dead.
Danjuma served as commissioner for local government and later commissioner for youth and sports under Boni Haruna’s administration.
According to a close associate of the late commissioner, Alhaji Barkindo Abdullahi, Jalo died after a brief illness at 58.
“He was hale and hearty this morning but he took I’ll later and died at home around 7:00pm today,” he said.
His burial will take place by 9:00am at central mosque tsohon Kasuwa.
According to Barkindo, the deceased left behind one wife and four children.
