Adamawa State Police command mourns Ibrahim Abdulaziz

Adamawa State police command has expressed deep shock over the sudden death of an Adamawa based veteran journalist, Ibrahim Abdulaziz.

Until his death yesterday, Ibrahim Abdulaziz is the Adamawa/Taraba State correspondent of the Voice of America (VOA), Hausa service.

A statement by the command’s image maker, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje said the commissioner of police Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, expressed heartfelt condolences to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Adamawa State council over the demise of Ibrahim Abdulaziz who died on Friday 5th February, 2021 in a car crash along Gombe – Bauchi road.

The commissioner of police who described the late journalist as a versatile and experienced professional, added that the command will loss his contributions and support in it’s fight against crime.

” The command condoles with Adamawa N U J, family of the deceased and the entire people of Adamawa State.

” The CP noted that Abdulaziz’s death is coming at a time when the nedia industry can benefit more from his wealth of experience”.

” The CP therefore, prayed for the gentle soul of the departed to rest in peace and to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost,” the statement said.
