Adamawa police conclude arrangement to ensure hitch free Christmas

In order to ensure a hitch free Christmas and new year celebration, Adamawa State police command has concluded arrangements to ensure a hitch-free Christmas and new year celebration.

A statement by the PPRO of the command, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje said
the commissioner of police, Olugbenga Adeyanju has ordered frequent surveillance and visibility policing across the state.

Adeyanju enjoins citizens to go about their celebrations without any fear or apprehension noting that the divisional police officers (DPOs) and their supervisory area commanders were directed to ensure the safety and security of all .

“The strategic officers will strengthen the visibility policing structure and carry-out confidence building patrols particularly around residential areas, major highways and Government/Private infrastructures to prevent and arrest any urgly situation.

” Meanwhile, the commissioner of police on behalf of the management team and the entire personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, Adamawa command, congratulates His Excellency, the executive governor of Adamawa state, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the entire people of the state as they celebrate this Christmas and New year.

“He enjoins people of Adamawa State to continue supporting the Police and other security agencies in their efforts at ensuring peaceful coexistence, public safety, public order and public security,” he said.
