Adamawa FRSC parleys stakeholders to ensure zero road traffic crash

In its move to ensure zero road traffic crash, ahead of the Yuletide period, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Adamawa State command, has yesterday convened a parley with critical stakeholders.

The meeting according to a statement by Abdurrahman Tukur, the image maker of the corp, was a follow up of an earlier meeting with officials of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on December 17, 2020.

He noted that following the success of the meeting, a larger stakeholders meeting involving NEMA head of operation in Adamawa State, representatives of Nigeria Red Cross Society, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, (NSCDC), Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO), State Ministry of Health, NURTW and Adamawa Sunshine Transport Company was convened.

Tukur noted that it was agreed that the stakeholders will work in unison to ensure drastic reduction in crashes.

He noted that the team had inspected some road traffic crash flash points along Jimeta-Numan highway and agreed on a location to station the National Emergency Management Agency multipurpose Ambulance within the period of Operation Zero 2020.
