An All Progressives Congress (APC) youth leader in Adamawa State, Alhaji Sulaiman Yerima has urged the stakeholders of the party to embrace consensus arrangement ahead of the party congresses.

Yerima who made the statement against the backdrop of meeting of stakeholders of the party, noted that the mood of the meeting gives vent to such consensus option for the party to regain its winning streak.

The youth leader who is also the coordinator of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu foundation in Adamawa State, noted that the party could not afford to fritter away its chances on the alter of heated party congresses and primaries.

Yerima who is also a core supporter of former governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, urged all stakeholders to give him unflinching support as he is the only man with the political muscle and the structure to confront governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri come 2023 general election.

“We should all support Bindow unflinchingly as he is the only one among the array of contestants with the political muscle, and the structure to wrest power from the incumbent governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

“With Bindow as the APC candidate, we are sure of reclaiming our lost mandate come 2023.

” So let us adopt the consensus and identify those people who can bring back APC to power. The party is big enough and can accommodate every interest and ambition,” he said.
