5,000 people to benefit from Sen. Yaroe’s medical outreach in Mayo Belwa LG



No fewer than five thousand people with different health challenges are to benefit from the four days free medical outreach in Mayo Belwa sponsored by the senator representing Adamawa South senatorial zone, Binos Dauda Yaroe.

The current medical outreach is the fourth in the series of such exercises conducted by the senator since he assumed office in 2019.

Speaking at the commencement of the medical outreach, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe said the intervention was to enable people who have health challenges to be attended to as both treatment and medication will be given free of charge to beneficiaries.

The senator appreciated the role played by the medical personnel, the state Ministry of Health as well as state government in the realisation of the medical outreach in Mayo Belwa.

According to him, many people have benefitted from other free medical outreach done in Demsa, Guyuk and Ganye adding that the outreach will be done in all the local government areas in the zone.

In his remark, leader of the medical team, Doctor Talemon Dah, who is from Soleria Afrique Rural Health Initiative said there are about two hundred Medical personnel to attend to patients during the four days health intervention.

He noted that the team is expected to treat about five thousand people at the commencement of the program, five hundred have registered to avail themselves for various health needs.

Doctor Dah urged the people to be patient, as there are enough drugs and Medical personnel to attend to them adding that it is necessary to observe safety protocol.

Others who spoke during the event, include the Member of the state House of Assembly Representing Nasarawo Binyeri, Alhaji Umar Nashon Gube and Chairman of Mayo Belwa represented by Mohammed Umar as well as Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Mayo Belwa, Bashiru Hamanjoda.

They all commended the Senator for the initiative, which they said has gone a long way in addressing the health need of the people.
